(A) We must support good people to pray to the CREATOR.
  1. Xian Sheng explained that in the Spiritual Movement, there is complete freedom, where one can come to listen without being pressured to join, as praying to the CREATOR is about freedom of choice.
  2. The reason Xian Sheng invited Bro Hoong Ping to Kuala Lumpur was because he desired for him to pray to the CREATOR, as he is an extremely good person. Xian Sheng expressed his desire that we should support all the good people in society to pray to the CREATOR.
  3. Sometimes, these good people do not know how to pray to the CREATOR, and there are many good people in society.
  4. Xian Sheng said that Bro Hoong Ping had helped him when he was in Australia. There are people who could care less about others since they consider them none of their business. (Video missing) Apparently, Bro Hoong Ping had helped Baitiangong followers when they were threatened and subdued.
  5. His good deeds prompted Xian Sheng to invite Bro Hoong Ping to Malaysia and take him on a tour of our country. However, Xian Sheng’s primary reason is for him to get acquainted with Baitiangong, and hope he will consider whether Baitiangong is right for him. Nevertheless, Xian Sheng stressed that no individual should be compelled to pray to the CREATOR, as it is completely up to the individual to pray of their own free will.
(B) Head of the household.
  1. Xian Sheng frequently said, “Even if I said it, do not trust me!” during his sermons. He stressed that this quotation is extremely important (applicable to new followers only).
  2. If we were to blindly trust Xian Sheng, then we would resort to quoting, “Xian Sheng says,” to support our arguments on any topics in Baitiangong. This is not acceptable in Xian Sheng’s view. We must speak and explain from our own understanding of Baitiangong.
  3. Although Xian Sheng taught us to pray to the CREATOR, we must pray on our own accord and not because Xian Sheng told us so. He reiterated that it is very important that we personally embrace Baitiangong and not just blindly follow Xian Sheng to pray to the CREATOR.
  4. After listening to Xian Sheng’s talk, it is imperative that we give considerable thought to whether it’s right or wrong to pray to the CREATOR.
  5. After thinking it through thoroughly and believing that it is right, we should accept praying to the CREATOR.
  6. The reason, as mentioned by Xian Sheng on multiple occasions, is the concept of the Head of a household. We must be serious about this concept.
  7. Xian Sheng provided an example with himself as the head of the household. If he were to declare starting tomorrow that no Baitiangong followers are allowed into the Karaoke room, he asked whether anyone would be able to enter. Despite all the facilities, such as air conditioning and an AV system, if Xian Sheng does not allow anyone to enter, no one can enter. Xian Sheng is the owner of the house, and he is the head of the household.
  8. Similarly, we should accept that the CREATOR is the Head of HIS household.
  9. Returning to his example, Xian Sheng said that it is not up to the followers to decide whether they want to enter the karaoke room. Even if it is raining, the followers must remain outside. They have to stay under the rain if they want to stay, or else they can leave. They do not have a choice in the matter of entering the karaoke room. If Xian Sheng has decided they cannot enter, there is nothing the followers can do about it.
  10. Therefore, we must be very serious about the concept of the Head of the household. The CREATOR is truly the Head of the household which is the entire universe itself. We must not mistake HIM for the head of a single-family household, for the CREATOR is the Head of all the suns, moons, planets, and stars within this universe. The CREATOR is the Head of all the universes, all the dimensions, Heaven, and Hell. The CREATOR is therefore the ultimate Head of all and more than that.
  11. Humans are not given a choice to choose where to go upon death. We have to ask ourselves, “If we do not accept the CREATOR, how could we expect the CREATOR to accept us?” Therefore, we need to seriously contemplate the concept of the Head of the household.
  12. We must not make the erroneous assumption of thinking that we understand the concept of the Head of the household after listening to Xian Sheng’s talk. We may think that we understood Xian Sheng’s explanation that the head of the household has the right to bar anyone from entering any part of their house, but when the concept of the Head of the household is applied to the CREATOR, it would require an in-depth understanding.
  13. The CREATOR’s magnanimity is unparalleled. We need to understand how magnanimous the CREATOR truly is and make use of it.
  14. Xian Sheng reiterated that the CREATOR is the Head of the household (Heaven), and because the CREATOR is very magnanimous, Xian Sheng asked everyone who attends Baitiangong Obsequies, regardless of their status in society or their age, to kneel down and request the CREATOR’s magnanimity to forgive, pardon, or lessen the sins of the deceased and, if deserving, to give the deceased a good place in Heaven.
  15. Xian Sheng asked if the deceased would be granted forgiveness and be given a good place in Heaven, and he replied that they could.
  16. Many followers once witnessed Xian Sheng bringing a deceased individual out of Hell and leading him to Heaven. That shows how magnanimous Xian Sheng is towards this individual. When it comes to the CREATOR, HIS magnanimity is unparalleled compared to Xian Sheng. Hence, those who receive the CREATOR’s magnanimity and blessings are bestowed with unparalleled blessings.
  17. This is why we must be serious about welcoming the CREATOR into our lives. If we do and we pass away, the CREATOR would also welcome us into HIS household. Xian Sheng stressed that the CREATOR will not personally welcome us, rather that Heaven is already created and would welcome any deserving individuals.
(C) Wouldn’t it be better if Heaven and Hell did not exist?
  1. Xian Sheng mentioned that he recently read a book that stated Heaven and Hell were created by man, and the concept of the soul is also a human proposal. He was referring to the book “Gods of the New Millennium” written by Alan F. Alford.
  2. The author suggested that everything, including Heaven and Hell, are creations of man, because of the implausible argument: has any man seen Heaven and Hell before?
  3. Xian Sheng stated that many individuals have experienced Near Death Experiences (NDE) where their souls left their bodies and went to spiritual realms outside the physical world, but these were not taken into account by the author.
  4. Xian Sheng referred to the book-turned-documentary “Beyond and Back (1978),” which talks about a blind biologist named Jacob Thompson who was declared dead by a doctor. He woke up in the morgue shortly after an orderly, who had just wheeled his lifeless body there, saw him moving beneath the sheets. The orderly had dropped a pen in the morgue earlier, and Jacob was able to describe the location where the pen was dropped. He was also able to describe the events in the operating room. Xian Sheng posed the question, “If that is not a soul, then what is it?”
  5. The book “Gods of the New Millennium” states that the soul is created and later propagated by man. It explains that the concept of Heaven and Hell originated in Egypt. Research into the history of Mesopotamian and Sumerian civilisations revealed that Egyptian tombs were unique, as they buried their dead with unprecedented possessions and treasures for use in the next life. Refer to 11A-A-2000 A8-A9.
  6. Xian Sheng explained that the author was unable to write a full and factual account, and the book was riddled with confusing and unclear statements simply because the author had no personal experience or had seen anything he wrote about, but based his book on his personal views. The author thought that none of them existed because he had never seen them himself.
  7. When it comes to certain things (like heaven, hell, or the soul), not everyone can have the privilege to witness them. They may have to rely on the accounts of those who have witnessed them. They would need to ponder why certain individuals are able to witness it, but not everyone else.
  8. They have to ask questions such as why Heaven and Hell exist. Xian Sheng posed the question, “Wouldn’t it be better if Heaven and Hell did not exist?”
  9. He posed another question, “Is Heaven and Hell on Earth?” If an individual is born into a good and rich family, would that be their Heaven? Xian Sheng replied that being born rich is not necessarily heavenly, indicating that it is not Heaven.
  10. Xian Sheng recalled he once heard of a rich individual in Penang who had a son addicted to drugs. Despite having a lot of money, what sort of Heaven is he living in? The son eventually spent his money on drugs when he ran out of other things to spend it on. He was very thin the last time Xian Sheng heard of him, and he was not even sure if the son was still alive.
  11. How can a person with so much money turn into a drug addict? Xian Sheng explained that he does not know how to use his money wisely and therefore failed his examination in life. In the end, he wallowed in filth with dirty and torn clothing.
  12. Xian Sheng said that he heard about this rich man in Penang who was hooked on drugs a long time ago from his friend when he was actively involved in the Teacher’s Union. Therefore, he does not know whether this man is still alive or dead by now. Xian Sheng also mentioned this case during a meditation session.
(D) People who are earnest in their endeavours do not lie or cheat.
  1. Xian Sheng urged the followers to be serious when reading books, including the one he mentioned, “Gods of the New Millennium.” Being serious meant they needed to reflect on the contents to understand the message and the knowledge the author wished to convey.
  2. Xian Sheng reiterated that he constantly informed the followers during the meditation sessions not to go to sleep immediately upon reaching their homes, but to stack up their pillows and sit up to reflect and contemplate what he had said. Followers who did so are truly serious about Baitiangong.
  3. Those who went home and immediately went to sleep, ignoring Xian Sheng’s advice to sit up in bed to reflect and contemplate what he said during meditation, are not serious. They do not want to use their brains to think because they are not serious about Baitiangong. Those who are serious about Baitiangong will think about whether what Xian Sheng said during the meditation session is right or wrong.
  4. If they think what Xian Sheng said is right, then they should accept it. However, if they think it is wrong, then they should not accept it.
  5. Being serious here means cultivating our personal assessment and not being influenced by others or following their beliefs. It requires us to engage in deep contemplation, carefully weigh the various arguments, try to see all possible perspectives, and measure the potential consequences. If we conclude that what Xian Sheng said is right, then we accept his words and pray to the CREATOR.
  6. Being serious is an important value in Baitiangong. We need to be serious and earnest in whatever we do. Do not do something for the sake of position, namesake, or recognition, as those are not important values.
  7. Xian Sheng conveyed to the followers that our life’s actions, such as when we donate money or make a contribution, are not hidden but known, as per the Chinese phrase “你知我知, 天知地知,” which translates to “You know, I know, Heaven knows, and Hell knows.” Xian Sheng emphasised the inescapable nature of the truth of our actions.
  8. He posed another question, “Did we fulfil our responsibilities?” Quoting the phrase, “你知我知, 天知地知,” Xian Sheng reiterated that we cannot escape from the fact of whether we perform our responsibilities or not. In life, we cannot escape from the consequences of our actions or inaction.
  9. The day will come when we pass away from this Earth. If by then, we say that we will start to seriously pray to the CREATOR, Xian Sheng’s reply would be, “too little, too late.” Xian Sheng said that a person can never tell when they will pass away.
  10. In the case of Sis Lee Lee, no one could have known that she would be hit by a car when trying to cross the highway. She passed away at the tender age of 19. Xian Sheng asked if anyone could have thought or known that she would die so suddenly.
  11. Nevertheless, Xian Sheng said that Sis Lee Lee could have known something would happen to her as she received some form of precognitive consciousness. She told Sis Wong Chew Peng that if no one picked up on her work after her passing, they would be scolded by Xian Sheng. Xian Sheng suggested that she knew in advance of her passing due to some precognitive consciousness.
  12. Xian Sheng suggested the possibility that Sis Lee Lee received a consciousness informing her that she had to leave soon because she prayed to the CREATOR. She unconsciously revealed her predicament to others in the Baixian office.
  13. Nevertheless, the issue is that no one will know when they will pass away. Therefore, we must be earnest in whatever we do. We must be earnest not only about Baitiangong but also in work, business, and everything else.
  14. People who are earnest in their endeavours do not lie or cheat. People resort to lying and cheating because they are not earnest in their work. Those who are earnest do not need to lie or cheat.
  15. Those who lie and cheat others do not understand the hardship faced by their victims. How would they feel to be lied to and cheated by?
  16. The two characters, “認真,” which translate to serious or earnest, may seem straightforward at first glance. However, when seriousness and earnestness are applied to various aspects of life and work, they can lead to significant accomplishments, and no task is impossible. Xian Sheng believes that many things and tasks are possible and achievable if we are earnest in doing them.
